Are healthy
Are fluent in English (defined as the ability to read and understand text, to follow and understand speech in the language, and the ability to speak fluently and be understood by its speakers)
Are right-handed
Have normal or corrected-to-normal vision (preferably contact lenses)
Mand eller kvinde
18 - 50 år
BMI 10 - 99

Du kan ikke deltage, hvis du opfylder et eller flere af nedenstående kriterier:

Suffering from gambling addiction or have a history of psychiatric disorder
Have a history of drug abuse
Be on medication or supplements during the experiment
Have a history of neurological disease
Have a pacemaker or other implanted electronic device
Pregnant or breastfeeding
Have implanted metal objects
Have severe claustrophobia

Fordele ved at deltage

500 kr per day of your participation (200 kr for the first hour and 150 kr for each subsequent hour), which means about 1000 kr for the full study. Additionally, you can win up to 75 kr per game (so 450 kr in total). All amounts are taxable.

Forløb

The experiment takes place on two days and it takes 2.5 hours per day. Background and purpose of the experiment: Aim: Examine brain activity in an MRI scanner during six decision-making and learning tasks. Tasks involve: - Quick responses to images. - Learn about the meaning of different images. - Choosing between safe and risky gambles. Experiment plan: Duration: The experiment takes place on two days and takes 2.5 hours per day. Day structure: - Play two games in the scanner (~50 minutes) - Have a break - Play one more game in the scanner (~25 minutes) and afterward do questionnaires, while we collect anatomical images (~ 20 minutes). You can expect 10 to 15 minutes each day for introductions and debriefing.
